Bio
Maureen has been studying the bagpipes since 2004. She moved to the Billings area and joined the Billings Caledonian Pipes and Drums in 2013 with whom she has performed as the opening act for Gaelic Storm, Rod Stewart (at the Metra in 2018), the Irish Rovers (2019) and The Young Dubliners (2023). Her solo career has included first place prizes in competitions in 2014 (including the Judge’s Choice award), 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (Gr III and IV). Maureen takes pride in the ancient musical traditions of her Scottish ancestors and she would be honored to perform at your next event.
